Сapacity building for sustainable agriculture to benefit smallhoder farmers in Kyrgyzstan
The project aims to achieve sustainable human livelihoods by introducing innovative and sustainable approaches for better long run life of smallholder farmers through identification and sharing of best practices.
The project has three main components:
- Capacity building of smallholder farmers, private sectors, research/academic institutions, and civil society organisations to increase productivity, promote sustainable development, built local capacity for technology, agricultural research and sustainable development
- Capacity building of policy makers/governmental institutions to provide necessary public goods and services, by combating institutional barriers and low public good provisions
- Networking/communication and interactions among all stakeholders of the process, by establishing a dialog platform and activate constructive interactions and exchange including international participation and cooperation
